Cutting-edge performance features on ThinkCentre M Series models include the latest powerful Intel® Pentium® 4 processors with HT Technology to help you accomplish more tasks at once with improved processor performance and system responsiveness (select models). ThinkCentre M52 models include the Intel 945 Express family of chipsets, providing leading technology and fast performance; integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with an upgradeable 16X PCI Express slot (select models); a range of optional optical devices, and a choice of optional, award-winning ThinkVision™ monitors—all wrapped up in a newly designed chassis.

Get easy expandability with eight high-speed USB 2.0 ports, two located on the front, that transfer data up to 40 times faster³¹ than USB 1.1. These ports provide backward compatibility (at USB 1.1 data transfer rates) and make it easy to connect USB printers, scanners, cameras and other peripherals.

Optimised for connectivity, select ThinkCentre M Series desktops may offer integrated Gigabit Ethernet network connections for high-speed Gigabit Ethernet connections that are up to 10 times faster than existing 10/100 adapters30 when connecting to enabled servers.

ImageUltra™ offerings are designed for enterprise customers. This custom software image creation technology can simplify deployment and support by combining multiple languages, applications and operating systems41 for multiple hardware platforms into a single hard drive image. 

Rescue and Recovery™ software (preloaded on select models) provides a one-button recovery solution that lets you restore your previously saved system image including data, applications and operating system. It also includes a set of self-recovery tools to help users diagnose, get help and recover from a software crash, even if the primary operating system will not boot.

We offer the most secure industry-standard PC on models equipped with the Embedded Security Subsystem 2.0, a ThinkVantage Technology that provides an extra layer of protection for passwords and documents. This unique hardware/software solution — available on select models (requires download of security software from us) — provides a level of security not offered as a standard feature by any other PC manufacturer, and helps provide user authentication, data protection and more secure communications when used in conjunction with a third-party digital certificate (not included). It fulfills security standards recognized by 180 companies and includes our Client Security Software (via download).
